Software Developer II - FEB18-02

Description:Individual needed to be part of a development team supporting computerized testing projects. Project work may include, but not be limited to, developing and maintaining software, debugging programs, and sustaining Web and Cloud applications. The Software Developer will also evaluate, write and review documents, plans, code, requirements, and specifications. They must also provide expertise in the full software development life cycle and have excellent problem solving skills analyzing complex technical issues.

Individual should have:
• B.S. degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum six years of professional experience is highly preferred in Java, C#, C++ or similar high-level language.
• Experience developing under Microsoft Windows using Visual C/C++, Java, Oracle, SQL, JIRA (or other CM tools).
• Experience with Java, GUI libraries (AWT, SWING, JavaFX), JavaScript frameworks, JBoss Application Server, and Eclipse IDE with knowledge of file and database I/O routines.
• Experience with infrastructure virtualization and cloud deployment/orchestration (AWS a plus)
• Ability to use a wide variety of open source tools/technologies and cloud services.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish and maintain effective relationships with employees, clients and partners.
• Ability to be a self-starter with a desire to learn, research, and recommend new technologies appropriate to develop solutions.
• Passion for product quality, service and performance.

This position is located in HumRRO’s Monterey, CA office though placement in San Diego, CA will also be considered.
